Inside VETMED
We have a state-of-the-art, 8,000 square-foot office located in North Phoenix. Our talented and dedicated staff work hard to make sure every patient feels welcome and cared for during their visit.
VETMED is a non-corporate, independently owned referral practice. Part of our main focus was to build a modern, efficient state-of-the-art facility utilizing a green building platform. We considered everything from the energy conserving motion lighting to the recycled doors and cabinetry. By recycling as much as possible we were able to keep building costs down and bring you the newest and most-advanced diagnostic equipment found in Arizona. This plan also allows us to offer lower fees for the extraordinary care our clients receive. At VETMED, we maintain a level of commitment unrivaled by other specialty practices.
Location, Location, Location
Our office is located off of Highway 101 and Cave Creek road in Northern Phoenix, Arizona where there is a great need for specialty veterinary care and a nearby population of clients that love their pets. Our office is right off the freeway and very easy to find.
The Nuts & Bolts
When you walk into VETMED you will notice our affinity for the modern. From the interior design and black and white animal portraits to the building materials used in construction, you’ll see that we like to keep up-to-date not only with the way our office looks but in the way we treat our patients.
We have examination rooms with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. We perform ultrasound studies, blood pressure and electrocardiography in these rooms while you remain in the room. This allows you to be present during these non-invasive procedures to comfort your pet. It also allows you to better understand your pet's diagnosis.
We have a cardiac catheterization lab, procedure room used for endoscopic treatment, and a sterile surgical suite used for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. Our sophisticated Cubex® system helps us dispense medication efficiently. There are several small to mid-size kennels in the treatment area used for close observation and several large kennels just next to the treatment room for recovery. Our staff works hard to make our patients comfortable and make sure they get the best, most modern care possible during their stay with us.
Why We Love Technology
It’s no secret that more advanced technologies help us better diagnose and treat patients so we like to stay up-to-date with the latest available in veterinary medicine.
When it comes to performing specialized diagnostics and surgery, we minimize risk with top-of-the-line anesthetic machines and top-of-the-line veterinary anesthetic monitoring equipment. We have up-to-date instrumentation for ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, general surgery and fracture repair.
