Stephanie G. Foote DVM, DACVS
Stephanie Foote, DVM, DACVS, received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Following a one-year general internship in Arizona and a one-year surgical internship in Nevada, she returned to Massachusetts where she completed a three-year residency in small animal surgery at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University/Angell Animal Medical Center. Dr. Foote became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2006. She has been practicing in the Valley since 2005 and now joins our VETMED team in 2010.
Dr. Foote’s special areas of interest include wound healing, oncologic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and arthroscopy. She has had articles published in Veterinary and Comparative Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the Journal of the American Veterinary Medicine Association, and Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound.
VETMED has been providing support to local veterinarians since 1995. Now with our expanded scope of services and with the arrival of Stephanie Foote, DVM, DACVS, to our practice, we are able to make general surgery, orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery even more available to your practice. Dr. Foote will be available for consultations during the week and same day surgeries can be accommodated in many cases.
